What Type Of Paint Would I Need To Paint My BMX Bike?

Hey.
Its the holidays here where i live, and im pretty bored and i want something to do. So i thought i might fix up my old BMX bike. The first thing i wanted to was to paint it. I already know that i have to sand it down. But then what?
Any help would be great (:

ya maybe you should use 5 dollars a can for car paint or 200 dollars for a gun, ha, ha, ha, all cops know when they see a flat black bike that it is stolen,,,,so, my daughter painted hers for 2 dollars with two cans of spray paint four years ago and it still looks good. just use some wash rags wipe off all dirt and scuff it up with a pice of sand paper first tape over the handel bars and things you dont want paint on and if you have stickers on it take them off with a hair dryer first,,,,,,also take off the tires and hang it up on something to paint it like hang it from a tree branch or something and remember the paint will be soft for a week it may fell dry on top but scratch up easy so let it take a week to dry hard before you ride it hard,,,,,,
